C.S. Lewis' stepson visits Danville Christian Academy

The middle and high school students at Danville Christian Academy awaited for Tuesday to hear from both Douglas Gresham, the stepson of C.S. Lewis and one of the producers of the “Chronicles of Narnia” series of movies. They also heard from Devin Brown, Asbury University professo,r and author of “A Life Observed: A Spiritual Biography of C.S. Lewis.”

Together, they took the stories of “Narnia” to life as both had read the books in the series, as well as seen the full-length movies that have come out for three of the seven books, including “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,” “Prince Caspian” and “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.”

With each question, Gresham opened the world of Narnia and his stepfather to the students in a way they have never seen — through various stories and humor.
